This notice is posted pursuant to the Texas Open Meeting Act. (TEX.REV.CIV.STAT.. ANN.art.6252-17, (Vernon Supp. 1990)

The Marion City Council will hold a Regular Meeting at 6:15 P.M., Monday, February 6, 2012, at City Hall Annex in Marion, Texas.  An open meeting will be held concerning the following subjects:

  1. Meeting called to order
  2. Roll Call
  3. Invocation
  4. Pledge of Allegiance
  5. Citizens to be Heard
    This is the opportunity for visitors and guests to address the City Council on any issue.  City Council may not debate any non-agenda issue, nor may any action be taken on any non-agenda issue at this time however City Council may present any factual response to items brought up by citizens.  (Attorney General Opinion – JC-0169)
  6. Approval of the minutes for the meetings held January 23, 2012.
  7. Discussion/Possible Action – Motion Authorizing the Replat of 120 W. Schulz St.
  8. Discussion/Possible Action – Purchase of Used Dump Truck
  9. Brief Discussion on the Economic Development Forum/Randy Schwenn
